I'm a firm believer in the power of music. It has helped my anxiety tremendously (along with other methods of treatment). But, I grew up on 90's and 80's music. I grew up on Sade, Anita Baker, Slick Rick, New Edition, Michael Jackson, and so many other amazing and talented singers and rappers. So for this post, I decided to compile a list of some of the best songs from the 90's that you can add to your playlists because, let's face it, 90's music can put almost anyone in a better mood.

"Down for Whatever" | Ice Cube

"Smooth Operator" | Sade

"Freak Like Me" | Adina Howard

"Shimmy Shimmy Ya" | Ol' Dirty Bastard

"Rebirth of Slick" | Digable Planets

"I Get Around" | 2Pac ft. Digital Underground

"Woo Hah!! Got You in Check" | Busta Rhymes

"On & On" | Erykah Badu

"Ms. Fat Booty" | Mos Def

"Hold On" | En Vogue

"Nuthin' but a G thang" | Dr. Dre ft. Snoop Dogg

"I Got 5 On It" | Luniz

"Still Not a Player" | Big Pun ft. Joe

"Gangsta's Paradise" | Coolio ft. L.V.
