Regular Planning 101: Weekly View

If you know me, you know I love planning, cats, wine, and coffee. But, let's just stick with planning for this post. Here, I tell you what I always include in my weekly planner view.

In my sidebar

1. Daily habits: Habits that I want to make sure I do daily (like taking vitamins, skin care routine, brushing 2x per day, flossing, etc.)

2. Weekly to do list: Things I want to accomplish during the week but are general enough that they don't need to be included in my daily plans (like shaving, washing my hair, buying a gift for someone, going on a no spend, etc.)

3. Social media tracker: At the bottom, I track my planner/regular Instagram followers and YouTube subscribers.

*Shameless plug for my social media is linked up there ^)

In my daily sections

1. Daily to do list

2. Bills due

3. Hydration tracker: I like to make sure I drink at least 64 oz of water per day, and to do that, I usually mark it with a water bottle sticker. But, you can easily draw small tear/water drops and fill them in as you drink 8 oz of water.

4. Blog posts: Including the title and PR

5. Social media posts: What's going on my regular/planner Instagrams

6. Work hours: If you're an hourly-paid employee, I suggest marking how many hours you work per day so you can keep track of the total hours worked per week and can estimate your paycheck. You can even use an online paycheck calculator to estimate how much you'll be getting paid whether you're hourly or salaried.

7. Total work hours

8. "Money dates": I always set time aside on Sunday's to track how I'm doing on my budget and how much money I have in my bank accounts/on my credit card.

9. Events: Birthdays, parties, dinners, dates, going out for drinks, going out for lunch/coffee, etc.

Here's how I plan out my weeks:
